Due to a special event taking place at Government House on Thursday, October 2, and Friday, October 3, access to the grounds via vehicle will be impacted, and some areas of the grounds will be restricted for foot traffic.

Gates access for vehicle traffic will be extremely limited over the course of the two days. There will be significant parking challenges and possible long delays for vehicles attempting to enter or exit Government House grounds. Foot and regular bicycle traffic are welcome, but visitors are asked to respect areas of the grounds closed for the event, and be mindful of bylaws if parking in the Rockland neighbourhood.

Due to lack of appropriate parking, we ask that tourism companies operating bikes with passenger carts refrain from entering the property during this time.

Gate access for vehicles and pedestrians will resume as normal on Saturday, October 4.
