Richard Chappell has spent a career in the commercial shipping sector with a focus on operations, safety and governance. He has tirelessly advocated for improving the safety and productivity of the waterfront, particularly for shipping lines in BC. He has championed this important cultural shift and is a a staunch supporter of efforts to prevent violence and harassment in the marine sector, making a lasting impact on the success and reputation of the industry. Richard has also served for decades with the BC Maritime Employers Association and the Chamber of Shipping of BC.
