I am delighted to mark the launch of National Volunteer Week, a week-long campaign celebrated across Canada in recognition of volunteers and those who donate their time, skills and energy to better their communities. This year’s theme reflects on how the efforts of an individual can add to a collective impact. Over the course of 2020 and into 2021, we have witnessed firsthand how we can come together to help our neighbours and communities in times of hardship or uncertainty.
