Lieutenant Governor to visit Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – On Friday, April 12, 2019, the Honourable Janet Austin, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, will commence her first official visit to Prince George.

Her Honour will tour the Native Friendship Centre and watch a demo of bannock making by youth enrolled in the Smokehouse Kitchen catering program.

Her Honour will tour the UNBC campus, meet students and faculty and join them for a light reception.

Pacific Autism Centre

Her Honour will tour the Pacific Autism Centre and attend a luncheon with first responders and families.

Her Honour will tour the park and watch a performance by the Khast’an Drummers. This event is open to the public.

Northern Emergency Support Services Training (NESST) Annual Award Banquet at the Prince George Civic Centre
808 Canada Games Way, Prince George
Her Honour will attend and address the NESST Annual Award Banquet honouring Emergency Support Services (ESS) volunteers in Northern BC for long service volunteering with ESS organizations throughout the province.
